Looking at the house where we will be staying from the other side of the lake.
Looking from the dam across the lake.

Tent sites are close to the house if any of the adults or older cousins want to camp out.

We can use this party barge for fishing or swimming. The main motor isn't working, but the trolling motor is.

They call this the honeymoon bungalow.

Family reunion plans for JUN 25 - JUL 1 - site pictures

We now have the date set for our family reunion next summer. It will be Jun 25 - Jul 1. We visited the ranch in Oklahoma where we're going two weeks ago on general conference weekend. It is going to be great. There is a website you can go to to see pictures at http://www.legacylake.net/ . We have also posted the pictures we took while we were there two weeks ago on our blog site. We'll send out an email with more details shortly. Enjoy the pictures and start saving up. If anyone wants to come earlier or stay later and visit in Little Rock, you are all welcome to do so.

APRIL-MAY 2009 WESTERN TRIP

We left Little Rock on April 19 and headed West. Tomorrow, May 30, we'll return home. Sharon will have been gone for 6 weeks. I came home for a couple of weeks in the middle, but we have had a wonderful time welcoming in two new grandbabies, saw a son-in-law graduate from college and a granddaughter baptized, attended a birthday party and visited other family we hadn't seen in a number of years. We also did a little vacationing and "touristy" things. I will add some pictures shortly.

Timothy and Jeremiah Atlanta birthday trip

Sharon and I are on our way back from Atlanta. We spent Easter weekend there and also celebrated Timothy and Jeremiah's birthdays (7 and 5). It was a lot of fun to see everyone again, including miss Rebekah who is a precocious 3. We're traveling back home today, but will be leaving next Sunday to go west for some new grandbabies that will soon arrive and for A.J.'s graduation from BYU.

Subway convention day #1

Bummer. I was supposed to play golf on a PGA rated WDW course and got rained out. I rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon and hope it works out.

Some interesting things in the convention today like talking with people who own 8 or 20 or 40 or 55 stores. It's pretty amazing. One group here in Orlando owns 85 stores. Whew!!!

Well that's about it for today.
